NEW YORK (AP) -- Jean Williams, the controversial boxing judge who still maintains that Evander Holyfield defeated Lenox Lewis in their recent heavyweight title bout, has come forward with some new theories on how she scored the fight.

Initially, Williams stated that she could not fully see the punches being landed by Lewis because of her obstructed ringside seat. However, the truth seems to be much more complex than that; at a news conference yesterday, Williams offered new clues into the inner workings of her boxing mind. "Well, first of all, before the fight, the other judges told me it was 'Opposite Day.' That's always fun, so I scored the fight just like I would if the exact opposite thing was really happening. Then the fight en ded and the other judges said, 'No, we were joking -- there's no such thing as "Opposite Day." God, Jean, you're such a ditz.' I was totally embarrassed.

"On top of that, I was getting a bag full of money. Whoops! Ha ha, I mean, I was getting a bag full of headache because of all the noise. Uh huh, I had a headache. And I also thought that they should fight again, because I was having a good time." Williams hopped up and down, clapping her hands. "Look at me and all you people listening to me," she said.

Don King, accused by many of rigging the fight, appeared shocked by the allegations. "I am indefatigably and irreconcilably countermanded by the heinitude and wretchosity of these calamifications," he said.
